SESSION 1: Japanese Language, Marimba & Taiko Camp

This immersive camp explores Japanese language and culture through taiko drumming, marimba, and daily Etegami art, guided by guest artist Shoka Stonelake of Etegami Stonelake School. Students engage in traditional Japanese painting and calligraphy alongside hands-on music-making, building creativity, teamwork, and cultural appreciation. The week concludes with a celebratory recital showcasing each child’s growth.

This immersive camp explores Japanese language and culture through taiko drumming, marimba, and traditional movement, featuring professional guest artists from Matsuriza (Orlando, FL), known for their long-running performances at Walt Disney World’s Epcot. Students participate in collaborative music-making and creative exploration, culminating in a celebratory recital on the final day.
